When the pandemic necessitated the closure of educational institutions, Brian swiftly transitioned to online distance learning, providing engaging and interactive classes and workshops that enhanced in-person and virtual learning experiences.
Currently, Brian takes pride in being a member of the Ohlone College faculty in Fremont, CA, where he continues to encourage students to realize the importance of effective communication. His role as a leading figure in communication and technology began well before his tenure in academia.
MobileBeyond: Mobile, Marketing, and Media
Before his academic career, Brian established MobileBeyond, a trailblazing website in mobile, media, and marketing that gained recognition for its innovative podcast interviews and articles. Education
Brian holds an M.A. in Speech Communication from Humboldt State University and a B.A. in Speech Communication from San Jose State University. During college, he managed campus radio stations and was an announcer and broadcast journalist in the Bay Area.
